Hydrogen-powered buses: refuelling station
Client: SETA S.p.A.
Services in this project:
- Final design
- Permitting
- Preliminary design
A new hydrogen refuelling station is going to be built at the SETA site in Modena in order to power the buses of the SETA S.p.A. transport network.
This station is going to be fuelled by tankers; the project includes the possible future construction of an on-site hydrogen generation station.
This installation is designed to power 12 hydrogen-powered buses in the initial phase, but it has been engineered to take into account the expected expansion of the fleet.
As part of the engineering design of the overall project, dimensions were calculated for all sections of the hydrogen storage, compression and dispensing plant, as well as the fire water system, canopies and ancillary buildings.
The project is funded under the NRRP M2C2 programme.
