Within the framework of the contracts for the supply of electric buses and the related Over Night recharging system for the Cavourese and Trentino Trasporti suburban services, the design activities for the implementation of the e-bus recharging systems were carried out.

The charging systems consist of:

• Over Night recharging systems with 29 recharging points at the depots
• Opportunity charging systems composed of 5 pantographs at the terminals

The proposed system layout has optimised the recharging operations of the e-buses, creating a suitable mix of systems to meet the performance requirements of the local public transport fleets without modifying the routes.

For both projects, the Works Management activities for the realisation of the installations are currently being performed.
