The Eni hydrogen distribution station located on Via Orlanda in Venice is the first hydrogen distribution facility for public use.

A hydrogen refuelling service, operated by a tanker truck, was installed as part of a total refurbishment project that involved the complete demolition and reconstruction of the Eni Sales Point.

The system provides hydrogen at pressures of 35 and 70 MPa to refuel passenger cars and heavy-duty vehicles.

The project was implemented in a highly urbanised environment, requiring the development of specific fire risk scenarios using Fire Safety Engineering processes.
