HV and MV Power Transmission Lines
HV and MV power transmission line design and network studies in Italy
Partly owing to the support of dedicated and specialist internal departments in Facilities, MEP, Security and BIM, we provide consultancy services for the design of interconnection infrastructures for High and Medium Voltage lines and the civil works accompanying these and for the construction of electrical substations and primary cabins.
Our multidisciplinary teams support customers in final projects and authorisations, starting from geological and environmental investigations and topographic surveys. Having specific software for the design of high and medium voltage power lines, we develop the best design solutions, simulate electromagnetic fields in compliance with legal limits and design earthing systems, also assessing the phenomena induced on interfering infrastructures (oil/gas pipelines/aqueducts).
In general, for this sector, we deal with definitive, executive and as-built design, geological investigations, topographic surveys, integrated design, works management, electrical and structural sizing and BIM executive design of systems. We have been operating in the sector since 2007 for TSO (Transmission System Operator) and DSO (Distribution System Operator) customers, companies, producers and users, carrying out design services for overhead and underground lines, electrical stations, user stations and primary cabins and related activities, coordination for safety, it provides construction site assistance services and specialist consultancy for verifying the feasibility of projects and works.
