- Consultancy services on financed projects
Alternating current electric power transmission lines transport energy over relatively short distances in production and utility networks. It is practical to switch to direct current when it is necessary to connect different electricity networks over long distances.
These installations consist of electrical converter substations and power lines. These include both underground and overhead cable systems.
For the HVDC Italy–Corsica–Sardinia (SA.CO.I) connection, surveys, geotechnical assessments and studies were completed, as well as the project for the authorisation of the Suvereto converter substations and overhead lines in Sardinia and Italy.
For the Montenegro-Italy connection project (MONITA), we performed the topographical mapping, geological and hydraulic surveys, execution and authorisation projects, and works management and safety coordination.
For the Italy-France project, we delivered the preliminary engineering design for ABB.
For the CASA 1000 Project (the Tajikistan-Pakistan connection funded by the World Bank), specialised consultancy work was carried out to verify the design and works commissioned by CESI.
