The new residential building was created following the complete demolition of the historic Hotel Fiera Milano. The real estate project involved the development of 102 apartments of various types, ranging from two- to four-room units to roof-top penthouses, under the name 'MIA - La Casa Italiana', meaning 'The Italian Home'. The residential structure is formed by three blocks, each featuring 11, 8, and yet another 11 levels, each served by four stairwells. Garages, storerooms, cellars and technical rooms are on the two basement floors.
The building complex has a Class A energy rating. It is equipped with a high-efficiency geothermal system.
