DBA FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE IN ITALIAN PORTS

We are actively involved in promoting environmental sustainability and technological innovation in the Italian port sector. From Cold Ironing to improving infrastructure efficiency, our commitment extends across the entire peninsula, transforming ports into increasingly efficient and environmentally friendly hubs.

Porto di Fusina: Electrification of the Quays
As part of a consortium that includes Gemmo (leader), Nidec Conversion, FINCANTIERI SI, and Galileo Engineering Srl, we have contributed to the project through the following activities:

  • Final and executive design of:
    • Civil/Building Works: MV electrical cabins and Cold Ironing
    • Electrical Systems: HV/MV transformation, frequency conversion, MV and LV distribution
    • Special Systems: CCTV, access control, and fire detection
    • Cable Management System (CMS)

A crucial intervention of innovation and sustainability in a symbolic location.

Ongoing Projects
We are also actively involved in the electrification of the port of Syracuse, where we are implementing advanced technological solutions and integrated designs to make Italian ports more sustainable and efficient.
