Hydrogen, the smallest element in the universe, has become a key player in the decarbonization of the European energy system. The European Union has allocated significant investments for the research, development, and production of green hydrogen, with the goal of making it a competitive energy carrier by 2026.
"We need to move towards industrialization and cost reduction, which will occur with the increase in production volumes, the so-called avalanche effect [...]. It is now essential to be able to utilize at least 70% of the PNRR investments, otherwise, we risk missing out on advantageous opportunities [...].

"Two years ago, we developed the project for the first hydrogen distributor created by Eni, in Venice, via Orlanda. It was a challenging experience because at the time there were no specific regulations for this type of infrastructure. DBA's technicians and engineers had to work closely with the Fire Brigade to define the necessary special provisions, dealing with crucial aspects to ensure the safety of the plant. And today, thanks to this know-how, we are carrying out various initiatives to support the country in its ecological transition, as specified in our Industrial Plan to 2026, with the aim of promoting environmental sustainability through ecological transportation methods [...].
