THE VEHICLE BOOKING SYSTEM (VBS) PRESENTATION IN BRUSSELS

It took place in Brussels the event of the FENIX project (FEderated Network of Information eXchange in LogistiX) dedicated to the development of a federative system for the exchange of relevant information and data between information systems supporting logistics actors along the TEN-T corridors.
DBA PRO. took part in it with the Trieste pilot project through the realization of “Vehicle Booking System”(VBS). A web-based software application for the management of access reservations to the terminal for the pick-up/delivery of loading units. The aim is to reduce queues at the port terminals, optimize journeys and estimate CO2 emissions in relation to road traffic.
