I-TOS IN THE INTERMODAL SERVICES DIGITALIZATION

Our ICT Department has completed the digitalization of the intermodal services offered by Quadrante Servizi in Verona’s “Interporto Quadrante Europa” through its I-TOS software application.
Quadrante Servizi can manage up to 30 pair of weekly trains headed to Northen Europe thanks to the I-TOS software that digitalize all the intermodal processes of “Interminal”, the intermodal terminal located in Verona.
In particular the I-TOS software can increase the trains terminal’s performance and safety of all the operations inside. It’s built through functional modules based on data, a file archive and activity logs. This also allows to exchange messages in EDIGES format from and towards European MTOs.
