DBA PRO. SUPPORTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CER IN COMELICO

The Unione Montana del Comelico has chosen to promote the establishment of a local Renewable Energy Community (CER) and to join CER Dolomiti ETS, with the aim of combining sustainable energy management with the enhancement of the local territory.

This project has been made possible thanks to the consultancy services provided by DBA PRO., as part of the mandate entrusted by the Fondazione Cariverona for the promotion of CERs in the Province of Belluno.

Our vision of Renewable Energy Communities goes beyond the simple production and sharing of energy: we aim to build a real Community, actively involving citizens and businesses in a participatory process. We believe that the benefits generated should translate into tangible value for the territory, while also serving as a key driver to raise awareness among citizens and enterprises on the topics of energy transition.

The ultimate goal is the realization of a multi-energy system, an integrated ecosystem capable of combining various renewable energy sources and energy storage technologies, ensuring efficiency and sustainability in the long term.

Our approach is fully aligned with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 11, “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, with particular reference to Target 11.3, which aims to strengthen inclusive and sustainable urbanization, as well as the ability to plan and manage participatory, integrated, and sustainable human settlements.
