CINECA DATA CENTER

The project for the Datacenter that will house CINECA's new supercomputer, whose construction site was filmed by RaiNews cameras, brought to bear all the experience and skills of the DBA Group in the field of Mission Critical infrastructure design. Since 2005 DBAPRO. has designed and supervised more than 500 Datacentres and PoPs for major Italian Telco operators, for national and international Developers, as well as for Banking Institutions and Public Bodies, providing specialised and innovative technical services for the realisation of more than 250,000 square metres of data rooms.

The dedicated team of experts worked on the best technical and design solutions, in order to guarantee the achievement of the qualitative performance and efficiency, programmatic and economic objectives required by CINECA.

Thanks also to the use of the BIM methodology, started already in the Project and which will be completed at the end of the works with the "As Built" documentation, the team's gaze is turned to the optimisation and advanced management of the Operation & Maintenance phases of the infrastructure, as well as to energy efficiency with low environmental impact.

Quality, modularity, expandability, definite times, efficiency and security for a project that, for the room dedicated to the Leonardo supercomputer alone, envisages 1,000 square metres and 150 racks. These are the strong points for a data centre that also aims to obtain ANSI/TIA-942 Rating 4 certification.
